This five-day course features intensive hands-on training that focuses on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere 8, which includes VMware ESXi 8 and VMware vCenter 8. This course prepares you to administer a vSphere infrastructure for an organization of any size.

- Upon completion of the course, you will be proficient in achieving the following objectives:
- Install and configure ESXi hosts to establish a virtualization environment.
- Deploy and configure vCenter to centralize management of ESXi hosts and virtual machines.
- Utilize the vSphere Client to organize the vCenter inventory and assign roles to users for effective administration.
- Establish virtual networks using both vSphere standard switches and distributed switches to facilitate communication between virtual machines and external networks.
- Create and configure datastores utilizing storage technologies supported by vSphere to store virtual machine data.
- Utilize the vSphere Client to create virtual machines, templates, clones, and snapshots for efficient virtual machine management.
- Establish content libraries to streamline template management and facilitate virtual machine deployment.
- Manage virtual machine resource allocation to optimize performance and resource utilization.
- Perform virtual machine migrations using vSphere vMotion and vSphere Storage vMotion for workload mobility and resource optimization.
- Configure a vSphere cluster with features such as vSphere High Availability (HA) and vSphere Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) to enhance availability and resource management.
- Manage the life cycle of vSphere components, including vCenter, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines, to ensure they remain up to date and compliant with organizational requirements.
