Course Information
Acquire the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the NGIPS platform features through this course. The program covers firewall security concepts, platform architecture, and key features. It also includes in-depth event analysis, encompassing the detection of network-based malware and file types, NGIPS tuning, and configuration, covering aspects such as application control, security intelligence, firewall controls, and network-based malware and file controls. Participants will explore the Snort rules language, file and malware inspection, security intelligence, and the configuration of network analysis policies designed to detect traffic patterns. The course also addresses the configuration and deployment of correlation policies to take action based on detected events, troubleshooting, as well as system and user administration tasks.
